The renal community continues to feel the loss of our beloved colleague, mentor, provider, and friend Dr. Haqqie. Dr. Haqqie dedicated himself to AMC, The Renal Community, and was proud to serve in the Army. He was beloved by all patients and staff. He provided great comfort and care when working with patients with this challenging disease. The number of patients diagnosed with kidney disease grows annually. These patients experience a number of challenges which include financial hardships. This is our 4th Annual walk, where we are walking in honor of Dr. Haqqie. The staff of the Transplant, Nephrology and Dialysis (Pediatric and Adult) programs again will ban together. Please consider making a donation either in honor of our dear friend or in honor of any of those who work, live with or have been touched by ESRD.
If you would like to attend please consider wearing an AMC shirt, or, either Red, White, or Blue to honor Dr. Haqqie and his dedication to his patients, AMC and the United States Army
